Meet Fiona
Behind the Auntie Ona character is Fiona Jane — the creator of the brand. Named by her nieces and nephews, the name Auntie Ona comes close to home and Fiona wanted to bring that same warmth and sense of belonging to children everywhere.
Fiona's teaching is rooted in the English curriculum but brought to life with her own knowledge, creativity and a belief that children learn best when they're having fun. From years in the classroom, Fiona noticed that children thrive when they feel engaged, heard and excited — and that's the ethos at the heart of everything Auntie Ona does.
What started as a passion project has grown into a learning brand built on warmth, fun and a genuine love of early education. Whether your child is just starting out or building on what they know, Auntie Ona and Zeb are here to make every step of the journey feel like an adventure.

Zeb has been by Fiona's side since she was just two years old. A much-loved childhood toy, Zeb has always been a source of comfort, imagination and joy — and when it came to creating the Auntie Ona brand, there was only ever one character for the job.
Fiona wanted to recreate that same magic for the children watching — a friendly face they could recognise, connect with and look forward to seeing. Zeb isn't just a character; he's a little piece of Fiona's heart, shared with every child who joins the adventure. 🤎
